FAQ's
Q: How many photos will we get?
A: This will depend on your day and your package. We roughly say 500+ for our bigger packages but we’ve given up to 700 in the past due to there being so much to cover.
Q: Are there any extra costs for photos after the big day?
A: Not at all! They’re YOUR photos. We can’t stand this system some photographers use where they charge you a fee per photo or an absurd amount for digital releases.
Q: How will we receive our images?
A: You will initially receive your images via an online transfer, followed up with a custom printed disc and sleeve in the post a week or so later.
Q: What time will you arrive?
A: Again, this depends on your day and package but we usually turn up around 2-3 hours ahead of the Ceremony.
Q: Who owns copyright?
A: We’ve had this asked in the past. LoveClic will always remain the copyright holder as we took the photographs. We own the right to use them in our portfolio and website uses but they will not be sold on for any price. They’re YOUR photos and you can print as many as you like and share them with your families and friends to your heart’s content.
Q: What time will you stay till?
A: Depending on the package, we either stay until the end of the speeches or the end of the first dance. However, if the DJ slams on a bit of ‘Uptown Funk’ as a second song we may be swayed to stay and capture your crazy dance moves.
Q: When will you require payment?
A: After the initial retainer has been paid we will require the remaining amount between a month and a week prior to your wedding day.
Q: Will we get all of the RAW files?
A: No. We carefully select our images that we take forward to edit for the best possible results for yourselves. The leftovers are either out of focus, repeated images, people blinking and the odd one where ‘Uncle Mike’ walks in front of the camera.
Q: Where are you based and how far will you travel?
A: We’re based between Mold and Wrexham in sunny North East Wales. We’ll go as far as you like so long as our travel is covered. We’ve been as far as Thailand and Australia and have also shot in France.
Q: Do you have an assistant?
A: Sometimes we bring along a third shooter on a big day or when we’re shooting both stills and video.
Q: How long does it take for us to see our photos?
A: We’ll aim to get you a preview of between 10-20 shots within a couple of weeks. We sometimes post them on our facebook page congratulating you in the process. After that we say up to 12 weeks for the processing of the rest of the photos. Each wedding can take between 60 - 80 hours worth of editing and during or after a busy season we can be inundated with weddings to edit. If we can get them to you sooner we will.
Q: Do you offer an online gallery?
A: Yes we do. We have a dedicated Preview album on this site and we use Google Drive to create folders there for you to share with your friends and family.
Q: How do you go about designing the album?
A: Once the images are edited we will provide you with a contact sheet. A contact sheet is multiple images (around 40) per page with numbering. This can ease the process of you choosing which photos you’d like for your album. Once you’ve given us the numbers we’ll get designing and proof you a copy. Once approved It can take up to a month for our book makers to hand craft your album.
Q: What will the album look like?
A: Unlike some photographers we haven’t gone down the overpriced italian leather bound album route. Save yourself some money and buy the same one off ebay for £50 and fill it with images you’ve printed in your local supermarket.
Our albums are top of the range photo books. Hand finished and printed on the highest quality lustre photographic paper. The paper has a slight sheen to it yet absorbs most light thus giving you a semi matte feel.
Q: Shall we meet up before the day?
A: Entirely up to you, it’s definitely good to talk. We can get a better understanding of each other and have a laugh in the process. We can also facetime or skype you in the event you live far away. Alternatively, we can meet up and discuss your day on a pre-wedding shoot.
